Do you ever mix gold cardstock on a project? Three-dimensional layering dies are all the rage and they look fabulous with different shades of paper in the same color family. Today, we’re using gold in a variety of finishes.
The Cardstock
I love this mix of gold cardstock. The tones range from cool to warm and the finishes are just lovely.

The Layers
I’ll be using Altenew Virginia Rose 3D Die for the flower and leaf clusters. I cut all the layers making sure to use a different gold cardstock for each layer and of course Evergreen for the leaves and stem. The sentiment is Altenew Signature Words Die.
The Assembly
To add more gold to the background I used 3 strips of Altenew Gold String Washi Tape. I tore one edge and then layered the tape on the left side of the card front.
The flowers and bud layer up easily with your favorite adhesive. All that was left was to pop up the floral arrangement and add some gold sequins.
That’s a wrap! I hope you enjoyed this project. Please let me know in the comments below if you’ve mixed your gold cardstock before. Thanks so much for stopping by and until next time, Breathe · Ink · Inspire.
