Hello!!!  It’s only day 3 of our series and I bet you already have ideas buzzing around!  It’s Lisa here today with a fun shaker tag that can double as a ornament for your recipient.  I love when you can find more than one use for something!  Let’s get started…

Here is what we are going to make:

To create this shaker tag/ornament you will need to start with your selected Star Dream Metallic Cardstock (currently on sale, yay!).  I chose the Blue Bell, Crystal, Rose Quartz and Silver colors. I also used the CTI Glama Natural Vellum in Clear (not pictured).

I then diecut all of the shapes I needed out, and let me add that the Star Dream Metallic Cardstock cuts like butter!  I loved how easily the cuts fell out.

You will then want to adhere the vellum to your front circle as show above, and before adding any sequins or snow you will want to cover the back side of the vellum and circle with foam adhesive, I used the Double Sided Foam Adhesive Strips by Darice, as they were the perfect size.

Finally, I added my sequins with a little fake snow, slowly removed the backing from the foam adhesive and quickly covered it with my back circle diecut. (It should be noted that I had stamped my to and from on the backside of this circle so my project could double as a tag)

I then punched a hole through the top of my shaker (make sure not to punch it where any of your shaker pieces may fall out), and tied it with twine.  I then needed some glam and added stickles to the front of the snowflakes.

Thanks so much for stopping by today and I hope I’ve inspired you to think more than just make a tag, make a gift too!
Happy Crafting!
Lisa
