Then I cut it in half and then in half again to give me 4 panels. Also, the cool thing about that is they come out the perfect size to add to an A2 card base. No other trimming necessary. Because of the nature of the embossing folder two of these panels are embossed and two are debased. But all are gorgeous when finished!
I then die cut a slew of sentiments out of the Esse Textured black card stock and glued 4 together for each card.
I then adhered them to the card panels and added a clear glue to the top of the sentiment to make it shine, as well as some rhinestones for a sparkly touch.
Then as I was tying the first bow I slid this second one in and tied it tight.
You can see here it gives some added fullness to the look. I trimmed the edges of the ribbon into a banner flag style. (is that what you call it?)
Here is a shot of the finished card. In the box I put in 4 Stardream Onyx envelopes too. They too are shiny and beautiful!
Here is the set of 4 together. Easy and fast! I rounded the corners of each panel and popped them up using foam adhesive onto the Esse textured black card stock. I love that stuff. I use it all the time. It’s a really great item to have in your supplies stash.
These are beautiful, Kristie! LOVE that gorgeous black bow! HUGS! ๐ Mynn xx
Embossing metallic cardstock really is easy, and doesn't need anything but the sentiment to llok complete. I think I need some metallic cardstock in my stash
