Hi friends! It is Teri with TerisMailbox posting for CutCardStock. Today I am sharing a new to me Letterpress, stencil and die set on Cougar 110 lb. White Cardstock.

I love playing with Letterpress Plates. Used on Savoy 100% Cotton Cardstock, you will see an indented image. This card is created with 110 lb. White Cougar Cardstock, my absolute favorite! This cardstock does not indent as the Savoy Cardstock does.

Create the Front Letterpress Panel

The set from Spellbinders contains the Letterpress plate, stencils and an edge die that came in handy to create the fancy front edge.

Start by inking the Pressplate with Hickory Smoke Archival Ink. Run the inked plate through your die cut machine with an A2 panel of Cougar White 110 lb. Cardstock. Once dry, use the coordinating stencils along with dye ink in your choice of colors to ink blend the blooms and leaves.

Die cut the panel using the coordinating edge die.

Create the Card Base

Use a Cougar 110 lb. White Cardstock base. Line the front panel up with the front card panel and use the same edge die to cut a matching edge.

Attach the front panel to the card base. I like to use a combination of tape runners along with white glue on the cut edges.

Add interest to the card inside with an inked stencil. Use a light sticky tape and run a piece along the front fold on the left inside. Choose a coordinating ink color and lightly add color to the right inside panel.

Add the Embellishments

Die cut your sentiment using a coordinating cardstock color. I used Amethyst Stardream Metallic, another favorite. I used a Hello die from Altenew, die cut three times and stacked for additional texture. Glue the sentiment to the front of the card. Choose a coordinating color of Nuvo Drops and add a small dot to the berries on the front panel. You can tap the card against the edge of the table to level the drops. Set aside to dry completely.
