DCS Canvas Textured Mantis Green Cardstock – cut 2 pieces for tackle box trays; 3 decorative pieces

1 1/4 x 7 inches (1)
1 x 5 inches (1)
1/2 x 2 inches (2)
DCS Textured Indigo Blue Cardstock – cut 3 pieces for front & side of tackle box
4 3/4 x 1 3/4 inches (1)
1 3/4 x 1 3/4 inches (2)

Assembling Box
Score the 2 x 10 inch piece of Lessebo Taupe Cardstock at 1/2, 2 1/2, 7 1/2, 9 1/2 & 10 inches.
Next, score DCS Canvas Textured Mantis Green Cardstock larger piece at 1/2, 1 3/4, 6 3/4. 8 inches. Score the smaller piece at 1/2, 1, 6, 6 1/2 inches. The 1 x 5 inch piece is scored length wise at 1/2 inch.

Take the 5 x 5 inch taupe piece and adhere to the tabs of the scored piece to form box. See photo

Tuck in the green pieces and adhere the tabs to the back piece.

Next, add the DCS Textured Indigo Blue Cardstock pieces to the box.

Cut a 1 3/4 inch square out of the green cardstock and a 1 3/8 inch square frame from taupe. Fold the frame in half.
Adhere to the center of the 1 x 5 inch green piece as seen in photo on the right.

Adhere the 1 x 5 inch piece to the inside of the box with the fold on the upper edge. Apply foam tape to the back of the green square piece and adhere to box. Glue the two 1/2 x 2 inch pieces to the upper edges on the sides.

Adding the Final Touches
Print fishing lures, worms, hooks, etc onto Cougar White Smooth CardStock. Fussy cut.

Add the fussy cut clip art pieces to the box randomly. Wet glue and foam tape work good for this. Also add acetate with double side tape to some pieces to give a little “lift”.

Print a fish image and sentiment onto Cougar White Smooth CardStock. Die cut the sentiment with an oval die. Adhere both pieces to the back of the box.
Also, if desired, add a piece of the white cardstock measuring 4 3/4 x 4 3/4 inches to the very back of the box for adding a message to recipient.
The finished card measures 5 x 7 inches and folds flat to fit in an envelope.
