Gingerbread Christmas Tag
Hello friends! Well, we’re just a couple of days from Christmas. Are you ready? Melissa here and I’m at the age now where it will be what it will be. But I do have a super cute tag to share with you to help you decorate your gifts.
This is actually part of a series that I’ve done this year, this tag is Day 10 of my 12 Days of Christmas Tags and I had to include CutCardstock. Truth be told, I used a lot of cardstock from CutCardstock for my tags.
Anyway! This is a super quick tutorial and post, because this is a super easy and super quick project. Let’s get started by gathering our supplies.
- DCS Gingersnap
- Neenah Classic Crest Solar White
- Stamps, paper and embellishments – I’m using Gingie Time from Not 2 Shabby

Start by die cutting DCS Gingersnap cardstock into a tag shape. I also die cut a layering shape out of Neenah Classic Crest Solar White cardstock and the decorative paper.

Layer the decorative paper onto the tag. I also added a 1 1/2 strip of DCS Gingersnap and a 1 1/4″ strip of coordinating patterned paper across the bottom part of the tag. You can also see that I’ll be stamping this cute gingerbread couple onto the white card stock. Stamp this in black and color it up!
Next, adhere the focal image to the tag and add embellishments!

Finally, add a little sentiment strip. If you’re going to create this to decorate a Christmas gift, you can stamp a “to/from” on the back and add a personalized message. These would be very easy to mass produce if you have a lot of packages.
Thank you for joining me today and I hope you’re feeling inspired. If you make something similar, please be sure to share, I’d love to see it.
Lastly, I wish you and your family a Very Merry Christmas. May the spirit of the season be with you now and throughout the coming year. Be well, my friends.
