Too Cute to Spook

Are you a fan of spooky Halloween or cute Halloween? Toni here and I’m a fan of both because Halloween is just plain fun no matter how you “cut” it.

Ghost Bunny Card

Some time ago, I had cut out the Neenah Classic Crest Patriot Blue moons and stars panel but didn’t end up using it. Surely, you agree it’s a perfect fit for a Halloween card.

I layered it on top of Pop Tone Orange Fizz cardstock which I also used to cut out the pumpkin. Pop Tone Black Licorice cardstock makes up the handle and back of the pumpkin as well as the eyes.

A combination of Cougar White, DCS Sand Castle Tan, and Pop Tone Pink Lemonade cardstocks comprise that adorable bunny ghost.

Frenchie Witch

While working with the ghost bunny, it occurred to me that I had another die set that I thought could be used to make it into a cat.

You can see I even colored it up using my favorite quick and easy seal point cat colors. Funnily enough, I realized that the head seemed awfully large for the body of a cat so, changing plans, I removed the tail. Instead, I added a Pop Tone Pink Lemonade cardstock belly to turn it into a french bulldog.

I had particular fun selecting papers for the witch’s outfit and accessories:

With the witch and accessories complete, I created a card front using DCS White Glitter cardstock for the web adhered to a base of Stardream Metallic Amethyst paper. The sentiment embossed on DCS Raspberry Ice Pink cardstock finishes off the card.
