A Festive Patriotic Card
Hey everyone, it’s Natalie! Today, I’m super excited to share a festive card decked out in bold red, white, and blue. The season is in full swing here in the United States, and it feels like the perfect time to create something patriotic and cheerful. Whether you’re planning for a big barbecue, fireworks, or just want to spread some holiday spirit, this card is a fun way to add a little extra joy to the festivities. Let’s dive in and get crafting!

The CutCardstock colors that I used on my card today are
To kick off my project, I cut a 4 1/4 x 5 1/2-inch card base from Red Pepper cardstock. After that, I trimmed a Cougar White panel to 4 x 5 1/4 inches. I used a stencil to create the background, it was my first time stenciling on Cougar White—and wow, it’s amazing! The smooth texture of the cardstock makes the ink go on so beautifully. If you haven’t tried Cougar White yet, seriously, what are you waiting for?

I die cut two sizes of banners, on in Lessebo Navy and one in Cougar White. Stars were stamped in red and navy ink on the white banner. I adhered the banners together and added some silver string to the back. Afterward, this was added to the top center of the card using foam adhesive.

I started by stamping and die-cutting a variety of images on Cougar White cardstock. To give the fireworks some extra sparkle, I embossed them with silver glitter embossing powder. Next, I cut a circle from Red Pepper cardstock to serve as the anchor for the rest of the elements. Finally, I arranged and attached the images to the card using foam tape for added dimension.
