Welcome To The Neighborhood
Hi everyone, Patty here with you today. This is the time of year when we see the neighborhood change the most. Our neighborhood has aged out a little bit and it is so wonderful to see young families with little kids running around and playing again! I enjoy meeting new neighbors and giving them baked goods and maps of the neighbors around them. Someone did that for us when we moved in eight years ago and I really appreciated it. We will be getting new neighbors in a few weeks so I made a “Welcome To The Neighborhood” card for their welcome basket.

Getting Started
First, I cut out all of the items I needed from CutCardStock. I like the dark and light colors in the same tone for these houses. The cardstock used is:
- Discount Card Stock in Dolphin Gray
- Cougar White Card Stock
- Astro Bright Eclipse
- Discount Card Stock in Aqua
- Discount Card Stock in Plum
- Discount Card Stock in Hydrangea Purple
- Discount Card Stock in Granny Smith
- Pop Tone in Sno Cone
The stamps and dies used for this project are from 2023. It’s Concord and 9th’s Over The Roof Top set.
Coloring on Colored Cardstock
Next, I took the trees that I cut out of Granny Smith and colored over with Copic marker G19. I cut the sun out of Cougar White and colored it with Copic marker Y16. For the gray house, I cut the trim out of Dolphin Gray but colored the roof and trim with Copic marker BG49. The navy card stock is Aqua and colored over with Copic marker B39.

Putting Die Cuts Together
Then, I glued all of the die cuts together. They come together easy and the details are so charming! Next, I stamped the sentiment Welcome to the Neighborhood on the Sno-Cone circle using Versfine Black Ink. I glued the circle on the card base. To finish, I glued all of the die cuts onto the card base and the card was complete. I chose not to add any bling, it’s just so charming and doesn’t need anything additional.

Thank you so much for joining me today. Please check out the CutCardStock Facebook Page for more inspiration! See you soon!
