Festive Cookie Packaging / Gift Giving
Do you like to give homemade goodies as gifts at Christmas or any other time of the year? I do! Birgit here with you today, with a great idea for packing up treats into festive cookie packaging for gift giving.

Here’s a peek at the supplies I used that can be found at CutCardStock:

I started by cutting the 80# Basis Aqua cardstock with a berry basket die.

Assemble the boxes using Tombow Mono Liquid Glue.

Next, I cut the medallions using a Spellbinders die out of Stardream Metallic Lagoon cardstock, assembling them with the liquid glue. This metallic cardstock has a beautiful shimmer and has a good weight for making sturdy medallions.

I cut the larger snowflakes out of Stardream Metallic Silver cardstock and the smaller snowflakes out of 80# Neenah Classic Crest Solar White cardstock.

Once I layered the snowflakes on to the medallion, I added some silk microfine glitter to the center of each snowflake. Just look at the beautiful texture and shine!

Once the snowflake medallions were glued on to the boxes, I was ready to fill them with molasses cookies.

A recipe from my husband’s grandmother and a family favorite.
