Cute and Simple Easter Card

Hello everyone. Natalie here! Today, I am sharing a cute and simple Easter card. The base of my project is cut from the gorgeous Blossom cardstock. I am so excited about the variety of colors and smooth texture of the Lessebo Premium cardstock. Overall, it is a perfect choice for card bases or cutting out shapes with your dies. This beautiful Blossom color is a soft and versatile shade of peachy pink. It’s such a gorgeous color, I know I will be reaching for it often. Firstly, let’s start with a look at the card.

I started my card by cutting a piece of card-stock to 4 1/4 by 5 1/2 inches. Then, I die cut that using a scalloped card die. Doesn’t it give such a cute edge? Additionally, I used a matching edger die to cut out the blue and white rick rack. Indeed, it is such a cute combination when used together.

Next, it is time to move on to the focal point. Start by die cutting a large tag from your choice of patterned paper. Add that to your card base using pop dots. Choose some of your favorite pieces of ephemera from the matching collection. Add these to the tag using more pop dots.

Lastly, don’t forget to add a touch of sparkle. For instance, I used some white sequins on my card today for the simple touch of shine they can give.

Here is a close-up of the card. Aren’t those bunnies cute?! And did you notice the little bow on the tag? It was die cut from Wild Salmon card-tock.
