Happy 12th Anniversary Page
Hey everyone! Angela back with another fun scrapbook page. This month we are featuring white and ivory cardstock, and one of our themes for the month is Anniversaries- so I decided to make an anniversary scrapbook page and a little journal note to my husband for our 12th. This coming Sunday- August 15th, we will celebrate 12 years since we said I do in a little Chapel at the Riviera Hotel in Las Vegas surrounded by our family.

I began by cutting 2 pieces of cardstock to make my scrapbook layout base. I cut a piece of Classic Linen Cardstock in Solar White at 8″ x 8″. Next is a piece of Classic Linen Cardstock in Classic Natural White at 7 3/4″ x 7 3/4″. I inked both pages with Tim Holtz Distress Ink- Walnut Stain.

Next, I took one of my favorite wedding photos- which was 5″ x 7″. I then cut a piece of Black Basis Cardstock at 5 1/4″ x 7 1/4″ to mat my photo on.

Next, I adhered the photo to the mat. I love how the black pops against the white and off-white.

Next, I took some pattern paper from the Hello Life Paper Pack from La-La Land Crafts and cut a Large Stitched Tag (Die also from La-La Land Crafts). I love how this has the lines to be able to journal on.

Next, I cut a notebook top die from La-La Land Crafts from my off-white Linen cardstock.

I also cut a Postmark Die (also La-La Land Crafts). I love how it ties into mail and journaling but can also be romance and love. To make it pop, I cut a small circle in black to back the postmark.

My next step was inking my die cuts with the same distress ink.

I tucked my notebook edge border die in the top of the page behind my photo.

I also cut a Happy Present Die, 1 and 2 balloon dies (yep- you guessed it – La-La Land Crafts) and inked all of the dies up.

12 for 12 years together. You can tuck the balloon bottoms into the photo, and you would never know it was a balloon.

I added the Happy Present Die to the top of the layout.

And then added the 1 and 2 Balloons to the top. I decided to just use black as the accent color.

Next, I journaled my thoughts/feelings about our 12th anniversary.

And lastly, I added one more notebook top die to the bottom to add a bit more texture.

As I type this up, my husband texted to tell me to think about where I want to go to dinner this weekend, and even after 12 years (16 together), he still can make my heart flutter.
I hope that you enjoyed my anniversary scrapbook page layout! See you soon!
