Pool Party Birthday
Is it time for a fabulous pool party? Now that the weather is warmer, I think we’re all ready for a bit of relaxing outdoor time. Toni here with you today and I’m ready to jump right in! Are you?

Designing the Pool
The Bazzill Marble Robin’s Egg 12×12 cardstock with its random swirls really reminded me of water so I decided to use that as the base for the pool shaker pouch. I trimmed the paper down to size, adhered the adorable images with their floaties, and added blue glitter to create the shaker portion. Fortunately, the shaker pouch has a self-adhesive edge that makes it easy to corral the glittery bits. Glitter still covered my space but just a normal amount, not “I spilled it everywhere” amount. LOL!
I used Stardream Metallic Sparkly Soft White ERIS cardstock for the pool surround. Just look at the shimmer. It’s so very pretty!

Finishing Touches
In addition to the Copic-colored images, I added a flag banner cut from Pop Tone Wild Cherry cardstock. I also mounted the shaker portion on a base of Pop Tone Blue Raspberry cardstock cut with a scalloped Lawn Fawn die.

Of course, it was only after I had trimmed the Blank Cougar White A2 Folded Discount Card Stock 110lb base down to size that I realized I could have just cut the Bazzill Marble Robin’s Egg 12×12 cardstock with the Lawn Fawn die as it has a lovely solid blue back. Lesson learned!
