A fun Birthday Card Idea
Hello fellow cardstock lovers! Natalie here. Today I have some cards to share with you that I had fun making. I used some beautiful CutCardStock in the colors of Blossom, Wild Salmon, Seafoam Green, and Neenah Classic Crest Solar White. These colors look amazing together—so fresh and fun!
Let’s start by taking a look at my card-

As I was deciding what to make for today, I knew I wanted to use this embossing folder.
- I started by cutting a 4 1/4 x 11-inch piece of Wild Salmon Cardstock, scoring it at 5 1/2.
- Next, I cut a 4 X 5 1/4 white panel and embossed it using this amazing embossing folder. It was my first time trying it, and wow, what a cool look! Neenah Classic Crest cardstock embosses so well. I ran it through my die-cut machine, and it came out looking like this! Gorgeous!
- Then, I layered this gorgeous white background onto Seafoam Green.
- These layers were then added to the card base.

Now it is time for the sentiments.
- The tag was die-cut, in the beautiful Blossom cardstock.
- I stamped the HB in a salmon color ink onto Neenah Cardstock, and die cut it out.
- I layered the stamped image onto a Seafoam Green die-cut HB. By placing this just off center, you get a shadow of the green, I love how that looks.

For the sentiment, I stamped and embossed ‘happy birthday’ in silver embossing powder. Using foam adhesive, I added both sentiments to the tag and then added the tag to card.
For the final touch, I used glue to add some sequins to the card.
With my supplies already out, I made a different version of the same card. Light Yellow was used for the card base. This version looks gorgeous too.

I hope you have enjoyed my cards today. They were lots of fun to make!
