Dad you’re amazing

Hello everyone, Natalie here! Today, I’m excited to share with you a card I created using the stunning Lessebo Navy cardstock. This rich, blue is a perfect classic navy color. To compliment the navy cardstock I chose Lessebo Hunter’s Green. I love the combination of these to colors. They are perfect for a masculine-themed card. For a touch of sparkle, I added some Stardream Metallic Cardstock in Neptune. The Stardream Cardstocks have a beautiful shimmer that can really elevate any project.

To create this card, I did the following:

1. Cut a navy card base to 5 1/2 X 8 1/2 and score at the 4 1/4 mark.
2. Cut a panel of the Stardream Metallic in Neptune slightly smaller than card front.
3. Cut a 3 3/4 X 5 1/2 panel in Navy
4. Cut a strip at 1 X 5 1/4 in Hunter Green
5. Get your favorite stencil and, in navy ink, randomly stencil small sections on the navy panel. The Tim Holtz Distress Ink in Chipped Sapphire is a perfect match to the Lessebo Navy.
6. To make your circle accent; take your Stardream Metallic cardstock, layer that with two sizes of your circle dies. This creates a circle frame. I adhered the circle off center, hanging off the edge of the card. Trimming off the excess.
7. Die cut a tag out of your favorite patterned paper
8. Die cut the word DAD and the stars in Hunter Green
9. Stamp the sentiment with navy ink and die-cut it out.
