Nana Love
Hello! Sharon here, if you check out my social media you will not be able to miss that I became a Nana for the first time a couple of months ago. Our little princess couldn’t wait to make it in to this world and came before we were all ready so I am just catching up on all the crafty things I had planned. Today’s design is this cute frame.

It is a digital cutting file that is 5 layers thick. I am using Pop Tone Cardstock and Classic Crest Solar White. As it is multiple layers you don’t need to use thicker cardstock.

As our little bundle is a girl I have chosen three shades of pink, Razzle Berry, Cotton Candy and Pink Lemonade. You can use any colors. It would be great to choose the nursery colors too.
To make my top layer stand out I am using Solar White for one of the layers and my back piece. The back piece is only necessary if you don’t add this to a frame. It holds your photo in place.
If you are framing the design behind glass then glue each layer flat. Mine is going to be resting on an easel so I have added dimension.

Your photo needs to fit behind layer 2 so size it to fit and print. I taped this to the back of layer 1 with washi-tape so it doesn’t move while the layers are glued.

If you want the dimension, add foam tape to layers 3 & 4

Make sure you add enough tape so that the middle of the layer doesn’t sag.
Now to build up the frame. Adhere layer 2 to layer 1 with your choice of adhesive. I use Tombow Mono Glue. Wet glue is my favorite choice because it gives me wiggle time. I even add wet glue to my foam tape for the same reason.

Layers 3 & 4 then need to be stacked.

Make sure you line these up with the base layer. I do this by standing my frame up so the bottom edges are butted together, then press in place.

The final layer is the trickiest to line up. It has fine areas that will stretch out if not careful. Lay it flat on your desk when adding glue – again wet glue is the best for this. make sure you get plenty of glue on the fine pieces.

Now just lay it carefully on the other layers, making sure the outer edges line up correctly. finally press “heartbeat” word and image in place. I do place a heavy book on top of this to it lays in place while the glue dries.

I hope this had given you inspiration and ideas for crafting for any new bundles in your life!
Happy Crafting!
