Monochromatic Bookmarks

Hello, everyone. Laura here to share my new obsession with you — and that is making bookmarks. I bought an SVG from Etsy and although some of the cuts didn’t play nice on my Cricut, two images did.

A monochromatic project is the perfect way to use Bazzill Marble Robin’s Egg with Aqua cardstock. Unfortunately the Recollections cardstock is no longer in stock but another great option is DCS Discount Cardstock in Aqua.

Layers were cut in both colors so I reversed one. Robin’s Egg is the top layer on the Aqua bookmark and Aqua is the top layer on the Robin’s Egg. The Robin’s Egg looks exactly like a Robin Egg, without specks but swirls. 

The bookmarks needed a bit of shine so I used Stickles for glitter on parts of the images, not all. I think it was the right touch.
