Window of Wishes

Good morning, Sharon here, I so wish the weather would decided that it is spring! The blooms are starting to show in the yard so I thought I would share some on my card today. A little bright and cheery window box card.

Here is how you can replicate my card, the cardstock you will need are from the Pop-Tone collection. To start with use a window die, I am using SpellBinders Vista View Window Dies cut from Berrylicious and Sno Cone. You will also need white cardstock for inside the window, Classic Crest Solar White 80lb is great for this as it takes ink really well.

You need a window frame as well as a backing for it.

Now you need to diecut the decorations for your window. I am using one of the window boxes so SpellBinders Up In The Air View coordinate well with the windows. The clouds, flowers, the sun and butterflies are cut from Pink Lemonade, Razzleberry, Lemon Drop and Gumdrop Green.

You need to cut multiples of the flowers and I did this in different colors.

Now to build your window. Start with the white backing piece and using cloud Stencil and light blue ink make yourself a sky.]

Add the sun and clouds to to make it a cherry sky then add your window frame using foam tape.

Build your flower box and add this again with foam tape to the bottom of your window.

Next we are going to make this into a card. I made a top folding A2 cardbase from Classic Crest Solar White 110lb and mat this with BerryLicious and some patterned paper. I have some lined grey paper which reminds me of the siding on our home.

If you are adding a sentiment like me. Stamp this onto solar white cardstock and die cut to fit on the window box.

Finally add your window to the base. On my card I place this centrally but you can add it higher. This leaves room to add your sentiment under it if you wish.

I hope you love this idea for a Spring card, let us know in the comments!
