Good morning everyone, Sarah here this morning to share another Dinosaur card with you. I know I’m sorry, but I really like these little guys, but this might be the last one on the blog for a while, since I have some other things I wanted to play with. Now on my instagram, I can’t promise lol.
As with most of my cards, I started with a base using Cougar White Smooth Cardstock. I had cut another piece of the same white cardstock down to a 4×5 1/4, this way my card would have a little white border. I laid it down on my desk, pulled a stencil from my stash and placed it where I wanted and secured it with low tack tape. Then I went to blending my Tumbled Glass distressed oxide and my Spun Sugar distressed oxide until I liked the way it looked.
I pulled out a die from my stash and cut one in the same white cardstock and another in Aqua, this way there would be another border between the patterned area and the dino itself. I wanted a little shading to the Aqua piece, so I grabbed my Tumbled glass distress oxide and blended some in on the sides.
I layered all my pieces up, really I thought I wanted the arches layered and coming from the bottom, but I changed my mind and decided I wanted them coming from the left side. Once I had those in place, I decided where I wanted my dino, ( My dinos were all stamped out on the same white cardstock). Then I stamped my sentiment, added some 3d foam behind my dino and stuck it down, then added a few little dots from my stash and called this one done!
