Thanks Snow Much!

I always needs Thank You cards in January, so I thought I would share today some of the cards I am making. I used some of the new Lessebo cardstock – it is such great cardstock! I used 4 colors from the Lessebo line today – Navy Blue, Arctic Blue, Amethyst, and Aubergine. My plan was to make monochromatic cards today so I wanted a light and dark blue and a light and dark purple – these were perfect!

I cut down each sheet to A2 panels ( 4 1/4 x 5 1/2″).

I wanted to stamp the same background on all panels in the same place on each panel. I used some washi tape to make a corner in my MISTI of where I will line up the panel to stamp.

Once I had my panel in place, I put my snowflake background stamp over it and picked it up with the MISTI door. I am doing some embossing, so I used a powder tool to remove static before stamping with my embossing ink.

I embossed the snowflakes using clear embossing powder on the dark panels and white sparkle on the lighter panels.

All that was left was to die cut a rectangle from the lighter panels and attach to the darker panels with foam tape. I embossed a sentiment – Thanks Snow Much – and glued that down. There are easy to mass produce and a great style of thank you card!
