Snowman cards
Good morning everyone!! I know Halloween in tomorrow, but I had to do some snowmen cards since the weather is changing a bit around here.

I started with the base of my cards, as always I used the Cougar Smooth White cardstock. I have a ton of these on hand, already folded so that I can just grab them when I have a card front ready.
I pulled some Surf cardstock for my backgrounds, knowing I was going to do something to them, but not knowing exactly what when I started. I cut those to size and set them to the side. I knew I was using this die cut set, so I pulled Wedding cake, Gunmetal,Scottish Highlands, Sour Apple, Flame Tree Orange, Orange Zest, Re entry red, Vanilla Bean Brown and Ginger Snap. Might see a bit excessive but I knew what I wanted to use.

I ran everything thing through my sizzix, pulled my black soot distressed oxide and ran that around the edge over everything. I even, really lightly, put it all over the base layer of my snowman so there was some color difference between the layers. I had also used some Bella Blvd for my snowmans scrafs.

At this point I was ready to start assembling my snowmen. Once I had them together I pulled out some stickles from my stash and added it to the snowman’s buttons, his top hat, broom and holly.
I pulled the background pieces back out and stamped on one with some white pigment ink and then used the same pigment ink on the other, but with a stencil. I also inked around the edges with black soot ink to give some dimension, I added the snowmen and then added the card fronts to my card bases and called them done!
I really hope you enjoyed these cards and I hope you have a great day!!
