Good morning everyone!! How are you doing today? Well I have been playing with the pretty cardstock I have, I have been running it through my sizzix constantly! lol I just love the way it cuts out without an issue and the fact that you can do so much with them!

I started this layout knowing exactly what picture I was going to use, and this was it. My little miss and her pup. I pulled some paper from my stash, I added a few layers behind my photo and then grabbed my cardstock and pulled colors that matched the papers and title I had decided to use.

I had started with my white cardstock (Cougar Smooth Cardstock), then the blues (Surf and Aqua) and pinks (Strawberry Cream and Shimmer Fruit Punch) that matched the patterned papers I had pulled from my stash. Once I had pulled the papers I wanted to use, I grabbed some dies from my stash and started to run the papers through my sizzix. I really do love the way these papers cut though. They cut through and don’t rip. I just don’t seem to have problems with them like I have with other papers in the past. Anyways…..

Once I had cut everything out, I drew a light circle on my layout. I placed my picture with its layers behind it down and started to play with the pieces I had already cut out. I kept each color together and alternated between the pinks and blues. But I added them around the circle until I was happy with the way it looked.

I didn’t have anything at the bottom of the layout at this point and I wanted to add something. It just looked to bare, so I grabbed some of the papers I had added as layers behind my photo. I did a little ripping of those and layered them at the bottom, pulled a few flowers and ephemera pieces to add in here and there in the “wreath” I had mad on my layout. I added a few little shiny dots and then called this layout down.
