Positively Adorable Friends
Hi everybody, Cassie here with you today. My latest box of cardstock arrived recently and I was so excited to dig into it for this new project. I had these adorable photos of my puppy with his favorite toy taken last summer when he first came home. The colors of the cardstock were perfect!
Don’t forget that this month we are having a sale on all Red, White and Blue cardstock. This is a perfect time to stock up on these colors!

Getting Started
Generally, I tend to plan several layouts at once by pulling out photos and cut files that I plan to use. So I had cut my title out a few weeks ago using the DCS Black cardstock. Once I decided on my photos, I pulled out the Vicki Boutin Discover + Create collection and the colors of cardstock below that paired well with this collection.

Stardream Metallic Quartz cardstock
DCS Canvas Textured Wedding Cake White cardstock
Bazzill Canvas Texture Peach cardstock
I decided to start by alternating Lessebo Misty Blue cardstock and Bazzill Canvas Texture Peach cardstock to back my cut file. Next, I pulled out some patterned paper for the paw print. I love all the circles on one of the papers so I decided to create some 3D folded circles to create some embellishment clusters on my page.

For each circle I punched out three 1” circles and scored them down the middle and folded them and glued them together to create a half of a circle. I repeated this until I had three of each color (Bazzill Peach, Lessebo Misty Blue and Light Yellow).

Finishing the Page

Once I had my papers cut down and my circles made, it was time to start assembling my layout. I added a layer of the Stardream Quartz Metallic cardstock between my two patterned paper background layers. I added my title using foam tape for added dimension. My photos are matted on some Stardream Quartz Metallic cardstock. It was at this point that I added my 3D circles in three clusters on my layout. To finish it up I added some puffy dots and various stickers and die cuts from the collection.
