Haunted Mansion | Raechelle Bellus

Hello! Happy October, y’all! 🙂 Today I’m sharing a fun Halloween Countdown Haunted Mansion that I created for my husband, who really is my biggest kid. Haha!

Isn’t this so fun?! I found this cut file in the Silhouette Store (ID #333845) and had to get it. It’s a bit daunting once it’s all cut out and ready to assemble, but the creator of the cutfile has a video which allows you to easily follow along to assemble.

I’ll share photos and touch on assembly, but nothing in depth.

The colors used on this house from the CutCardStock store are as follows: 12×12 Discount Card Stock Black, Discount Card Stock Plum Purple (closest match to what I actually used which is out of stock), Pop Tone Lemon Drop, Pop Tone Banana Split, Basis White, Pop Tone Orange Fizz, and Discount Canvas Textured Charcoal Grey.

To begin place all pieces together and fold on score lines. Note- pieces are alphabetized so it’s easy to keep them together.

Next, assemble boxes according to instructions.

Fill boxes with candy, trinkets, or whatever suits your fancy, and then adhere closed. Allow to dry well prior to assembling.

Now comes the fun part, the final assembly. It’s so cool to see it all come together, because quite frankly I was baffled by some of the pieces. LOL

Ensure that you are adhering solidly, and if using glue, as I did, that you are applying firm pressure and holding it together and allowing it to dry a tad as you build.

The only additional things I added are the twine on one of the pumpkins and the epoxy door knob.

Thanks for stopping by today! Be sure to check out all the great cardstock and more from the CutCardStock store!
