Glitter + Halloween = AWESOME! I love doing die cut inlay, and it is even better when using glitter cardstock! This particular die that I am using makes a great background, and all you have to do is change the color scheme to match any holiday or occasion!

I used the following glitter cardstock for this project: Silver, Black, Prosperous Purple. If you don’t have a specific color that you want in the glitter Cardstock, you can color the silver! I used a Copic marker to make the colors I wanted but didn’t have already.

I used this sunburst background die, and tried to keep the pieces together as I took the die off of the cardstock. I did this because I wanted to keep them all where they belonged to make it easier to place them when doing our inlay. I used a piece of press ‘n seal to keep them together.

Next, I cut a piece of black cardstock to 4 1/4 x 5 1/2″ and covered it with a piece of double sided adhesive. Using double sided adhesive makes doing die cut inlay so much easier!

I wanted to use the frame from the black glitter cardstock, so I carefully placed this onto the black Cardstock that has the adhesive on it.

The next step is to put all our colorful sparkly pieces into our frame! I decided for the pattern to go purple, silver, orange, silver, green, silver…repeat.

I didn’t have the color of green I wanted in the glitter cardstock, so I used a Copic marker to color the silver. This works great and you can make any color you need as long as you have that color in an alcohol marker!

I also used the green for the oval in the center. And here is the panel once all the pieces are added!

All you need to finish this card is a cute little image and a sentiment!
