Camera Box Card

Hello everyone! It’s Raechelle. I hope y’all are managing to find relief from the excessive heat lately! Thank goodness for AC, fans, or Central air. 😉 Today I’m sharing this cute little camera box card cut file that I picked up in the Silhouette Design Store (#353777). I made this for myself to add something pretty to my craft room.

Isn’t it adorable? I first cut everything and laid it out:

The main base was cut using a floral print paper from Simple Stories. I used several different card stock colors from the CutCardStock Store: Basis Aqua, Basis Navy, Basis Olive, Pop Tone Lemon Drop, Pop Tone Gumdrop Green, Pop Tone Cotton Candy, Pop Tone Banana Split, Pop Tone Wild Cherry, Discount Card Stock Poodle Pink, and Stardream Metallic Silver.

I began with adhering the front main camera base to the main patterned paper base and then added some hand stitching for detail:

Once that was complete, I glued all the camera pieces together that complete the front and then adhered them to the front of the card. I used a white gel pen to add some lines to provide and illusion of light.

Next, adhere the flowers to the inside support pieces. Tip: if you are going to use any type of puff paint or liquid enamel drops, etc., this would be a good time to do so. Let them dry for 24 hours to dry well. I did not heed this advice, and added them after I had glued everything together, which ended being a bit trickier to do.

Glue the inside pieces to the base patterned paper:

Finally adhere the side tab and your camera is complete!

I added a bow on the side just to add some extra cuteness.

As you can see in the photo above, I used several layers and colors of the enamel paint.

I hope you enjoyed this project and don’t forget to stop by the CutCardStock shop and get your card stock for your next papercrafting project.
