Tacklebox Card | Raechelle Bellus
Time sure is flying by! With May quickly passing by, Father’s Day is just around the corner. Today I am sharing a 3D Tacklebox card that I created for my dad, who is an avid fisherman and spends as much time as he can on the lake or in the ocean, so he will definitely appreciate this card.

(I apologize for some of the horrible cuts in this photo. I was awaiting a new blade for my Silhouette, and the camera really picked up all the flaws from the intricate cuts. :O)
I used a cut file from the Silhouette Store (box card tckle box #375544) and several of the BASIS colored cardstocks available in the CutCardStock store to create this card:
Basis Green, Basis Red, Basis Black, Basis Aqua, Basis Navy, Basis Grey, Basis White, Basis Olive, Basis Gold, and Basis Dark Red. I also used Stardream Metallic Silver Cardstock.
The first step is to cut everything, then I assembled the layers together.

Next, I adhered the layered pieces to their bases, and finally assembled these pieces to the main base.

Finished project!

The finished project folds flat which is perfect for mailing!
I will say that this was a little time-consuming, not the assembly, but all the cutting with the different colors, however the end result is a labor of love, which represents how much love I have for my Dad.
