Hello friends, Its Teri with TerisMailbox posting this sparkly card for CutCardStock.com. Did you know you can color on shiny glitter cardstock? Check out my post including the steps to see how easy it is.

Check out the shine and glimmer from the shiny glitter cardstock!
Create the Floral Base

I looked in my stash and decided to use this lovely Simon Says Stamp Sketched Flower Stamp as I was feeling like another slimline card and this image is set up to cover a good portion of a slimline surface. Use any stamp in your stash!
Cut a piece of Opulent Opal Glitter Cardstock and cut to slimline card size. This cardstock is 12 x 12 inches so you will have plently left for your stash! Start with 4 x 9.25 inches. You can always trim it later. Stamp the image with a Copic friendly ink. Be sure it is dry before you begin coloring. You can heat set it as well.

Color the image with alcohol ink markers (I used Copics). Check out how the image fills the slimline base!

Assemble the Card
Once you have colored the images, it is time to assemble the card. Cut a piece of Cougar 100 lb. Cardstock to 8 x 9.25 inches. Score down the long side and use your bone folder to crease the card base.
Cut a piece of Pop-Tone Black Licorice Cardstock to 3.75 x 9.0 inches.
Trim the floral piece to 3.5 x 8.75 inches to allow a small black frame around the floral base. Mount the floral piece on the black cardstock and then on the slimline base. Check out how the black frame makes the flowers pop!

Finish the Card

The last step is to add a sentiment. Tip – keep a stash of premade sentiments so you can finish your cards quickly. Choose a sentiment from your stash or create one. The circle sentiment fills the open space in nicely.
