Do you love working with SVG files? As a graphic designer, I love creating SVG files, and I will be sharing projects, including SVG files, with you twice a month. Hi, I am Janet from Try it โ€“ Like it โ€“ Create it, and I have a tabbed card to share with you as a part of the CutCardStock design team.

For Valentine’s Day, I am making this tabbed card with CutCardStock. The card itself is versatile and can be used for many different types of card themes. The SVG file comes with hearts and circles but you could choose to embellish it however you would like.

I used three different card stocks for my project. The tabbed card is made from Royal Sundance Felt. Heart embellishments are made with layering Pop-Tone Razzleberry and Astrobright Pulsar Pink. This month CutCardStock is featuring their Astrobright card stock.

The additional materials I used are pretty simple and may not be necessary for your cardmaking. I chose to blend with Distress Oxide ink on the heart and the card so that they would relate to each other and because I wanted to add a bit of depth to this simple card.

Hi, I am Janet. I am married to my husband Dan and we have two teenaged girls. Nowadays I work from home. I have always loved to create. As a child, one of my favorite things to do was talk my mom into a trip to the craft store. I took my love of art and craft and studied Graphic Design in college. Then I pursued an MFA in Graphic Design and an MS in New Media. I left a prosperous career as a college professor to raise our girls. Looking for a creative outlet, I started a website; Try it - Like it - Create it
