Fall Means Sunflowers
When I saw this stamp set, I knew that these images would be perfect for Autumn and encouragement cards. All of the cardstock and the envelope used in this project are available in the CutCardStock shop!
I cut Basis Cardstock 110# in White into a 4-1/4 inches x 5-1/2 inches card front to stamp my sunflower image.
I stamped the sunflowers and sentiment stamps on to a Brown Bag Envelope 70# in Kraft which is A6 in size.
I colored both the card front and envelope stamped images using colored pencils.

I die-cut the colored card front image using a steel die that has a hand-stitched border.

I created a card base 4 ¼ inches x 11 inches using Discount Cardstock 80# in Dove, folding it in half. This cardstock has a beautiful iridescent shimmer and textured pattern on the front side of the cardstock. The backside (inside the card) is smooth to allow a handwritten note for the card sender to write.

I adhered the sunflower die-cut image to the front of the card base using 3D tape to allow the image to be highlighted.

Here is the finished card. In the close-up images, you can see the texture and shimmer of the card base.
With creating a handmade card, why not take the time to embellish the envelope you enclose it in. Having a pretty envelope makes the card recipient feel even more special. Below are close up images of the embellished envelope.
The card and envelope together…… Thank you for stopping in today!
