I am always ready for Fall! I wish it could be fall all the time. The colors, smells, flavors, I love it all. With fall being over, it’s time to jail break the fall photos, and supplies, for my fall album. I’m doing it different this year, adding colors, like purple, to my palette

I decided to pull out Classic Crest Solar White Cardstock as my base. Curious Metallic Violette, Curious Metallic Poison Ivory,(ended up not using it), Curious Metallic Lime paper, Curious Metallic Mandarin Cardstock, Curious Metallic Mint Green Cardstock, a sheet of acetate, and a cut file.

Using some distress oxide, and my favorite blending brushes, I blended my cut file. I like to use the magnets to keep my base from moving around.
I like to use a post-it to keep my fingerprints off the page. Starting right and working left, is easier for me to blend them properly. Going over all the colors with the final color. I love the Solar White cardstock the best for ink blending. It’s weight and the smooth texture holds up very nicely.

Once this was finished, I just had to use both the cut file and the inked base, because I loved it! I played around with the layout for while trying to decide how I liked it best. As I played I decided it had to become shake pockets!
Using the Mint Green, Lime, Mandarin, and the Violette cardstocks, I made all the shakers. So much fun!
While the shakers were drying, I played with my picture. I decided to cut it into 3-2×4 pictures. Matting them with the Manarin and the Violette colors.
Using some printables from Traci Reed, I layered some pretty paper. Followed by the cut file and photo. Using coordinating embellishments from the same set of printables, along with some epoxy flair, seguins, and nuvo.
I added Nuvo drops to just about everywhere. My little titles as well as little drops all over.

I hope you enjoyed this as much as I did making it! I would love to see you use some of these great colors in nontraditional layouts. I don’t know about you, but I don’t usually use purple in anything, let alone a fall page!
Happy Scrapping!

Gorgeous!!! I love the mixed media using the positive and the negative of a cut file! My favorite part tho is the pop of purple!
