Posting today for CutCardStock.com. Gift cards are often a great choice for the holidays and I am getting in the spirit creating a few!

There are many different techniques you can use to create these cuties! Techniques used include single image stamping, background image stamping, texture paste and a stencil and the layered colored die cut technique on the upper left.

I created this cute gift box and card holder using a Tonic Pillow box die, a card holder die from my stash and Cougar 80 lb. Cardstock. The holly tag was cut from Smooth Red Wagon Cardstock and Basis Green CardStock.
You will need to cut 2 identical pieces that form the front and the back of the box. Check out the video to see how it was done!

This box was created by random stamping the evergreen and berries from a Hero Arts stamped on Cougar 80 lb. Cardstock bases. I created the gold dots using a rounded tool and gold Nuvo drops. Check out the video above to see this technique for real round dots!

This cute box was created on Cougar 80 lb. cardstock with a stamp set from SimonSaysStamps. After cutting the pillow box, I stamped the image and colored with Copic markers.

This may well be my favorite! Simple yet elegant. I started with Jupiter Stardream Cardstock and used a snowflake stencil with Irridescent Embossing Glaze.

Happy Holidays to you and yours. Stay safe! I hope you enjoyed this post and may be inspired to create gift card holders for your friends and family! Be sure to check out the great products from Cut CardStock!
