Photo Storage Folder
Do you love getting a free SVG file? As a graphic designer, I love creating SVG files and I will be sharing projects and free SVG files with you.
Hi, I am Janet from Try it – Like it – Create it with a very useful tutorial to make a photograph storage folder. Of course, you could use it to store other items as well.

Laminated pouches are very popular right now and they are very easy to make as well. I am sharing a tutorial for making one with a free SVG file which makes it even easier for you to make.
The pouch is sized to hold 4×6″ photos and is made using Royal Sundance White Felt Card Stock from Cut Cardstock.

I stenciled the cardstock before cutting the free SVG file on a Cricut Maker. If you would like to see the stencil process, it will be included in the video below.

The next step is to laminate the cardstock, but we only want to laminate the front. The trick to getting this done is to add two sheets of copy paper beneath the cardstock in the laminate pouch. More details about this process are in the video tutorial.

After laminating is done and cooled, we need to cut around the outside of the cardstock and remove the excess laminate and copy papers.

After adding a snap to the folder, it is ready to store our photographs.

Video tutorials can often show us details that aren’t mentioned in photo tutorials. They work well especially for visual learners. I happen to prefer watching a video to reading step by step tutorials. How do you prefer to learn?
