Create colorful stacked die cards with your cardstock scraps. Today, I’m using triangle stacked dies, but you can use any shape you have on hand.

Colorful Cardstock

Start by choosing your cardstock colors. Here I chose a selection of Basis and Pop-Tone cardstock. Initially I thought I would create full rainbow cards, but shifted to warm and cool color palettes instead.

Stacked Dies

Choose any shape stacked die set you have on hand. I chose Scrapbook.com Nested Triangle Pennant Dies. Arrange the dies on a piece of low tack adhesive tape, such as Post-It Tape or Purple Tape as shown below.

To prevent the tape from sticking to the cardstock, treat with an anti-static powder tool or corn starch before die-cutting. Because I used all the dies, I had lots of leftovers suitable for many cards.

Colorful Stacked Die Card Assembly

All that’s left is to assemble the cards. Try different arrangements of die-cuts, change the direction, cut off large chunks, and skip a die-cut to leave white space.

I highly recommend using a liquid glue so you have some wiggle room while arranging the die-cuts. Here I used Art Glitter Glue with a Precision Tip. The glue comes out smoothly, evenly, and in a fine bead with the precision tip.

Altenew Label Love and Mega Label Love Stamp Sets create a modern high contrast look stamped them in Altenew Obsidian Pigment Ink.

That’s a wrap on these simple colorful stacked die cards. Thanks for joining me today and I’ll see you soon with more inspiration!
