Sending a Little Sunshine…

Hi crafty friends! I have a fun card to share today using Pop-Tone card stock. This card was so much fun to make!

I stamped a couple cute animal images onto Cougar White card stock with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and colored them in with alcohol ink. After I colored the images, I fussy cut them out.

I used Pop-Tone card stock in Limeade for the grass on my card. I trimmed the card stock down to about 3 1/4″ X 3 1/2″ I used a hill die to cut the top edge. Then, I ran the limeade card stock through my die cutting machine in a polka dot embossing folder. I added some green in to help the embossing pop a little bit.

For the sky of the card, I used Pop-Tone card stock in Blue Raspberry trimmed to a little smaller than 8 1/4″ X 3 1/4″ I ran the card stock through my die cutting machine in a cloud embossing folder. I added blue in to help the clouds pop a little bit more.

I trimmed a piece of Pop-Tone card stock in Banana Split Yellow down to 8 1/4″ X 3 1/4″.

I trimmed a piece of Cougar White card stock down to 8 1/2″ X 7″ I scored the down the middle the lang way to make a 3 1/2″ X 8 1/2″ card.

I adhered the yellow panel to the card base. I then adhered the blue card stock over the yellow layer. I then adhered the green card stock over the blue at the bottom of the card.

I adhered the animal image in the middle towards the top of the grass hill. I stamped the sentiment “sending a little sunshine to brighter your day” onto a piece of the banana yellow card stock trimmed to and die cut with a hill die on the top and bottom.

This card turned out cuter then I expected! I’m loving the cute little images they are so much fun. I thing this card would be fun to send in the mail for a friend just to bright up their day.

Thanks for stopping by today!
