Teacher Thank You

Teacher appreciation is so important, and what better way to express that than with a hand made card? I love using Classic Linen card stock for an elegant touch. It has such a beautiful, subtle color and texture.

For today’s card, I kept it simple, but interesting by adding some layers. I started by dry embossing a piece of Classic Linen card stock in Solar White.

I then stamped a tree and sentiment from Papertrey Ink on another piece to layer on top.

To break up the white, I added a layer of Basis Cardstock in Medium Blue. I then layered all the pieces on top of a card made with Desert Storm card stock.

Classic Linen is great for adding a white layer to the inside of a card made with colored card stock. Here, I added a simple sentiment from Papertrey Ink.
