A thank you doesn’t always require a grand gesture. Sometimes a little handmade gift is all you need to let someone know that you’re grateful for them. These thank you gift boxes are super quick and easy to make, but still look elegant thanks to the gorgeous textures and colors of Royal Sundance Cardstocks.

Start by die cutting pieces of Royal Sundance Linen Eclipse Black and Royal Sundance Linen Burgundy Cardstocks with a gable gift box die, twice per box. The burgundy gift box is perfect for fall and Thanksgiving, but I couldn’t resist throwing in a black box too since today is Halloween!

Score all of the folds on the die-cuts well with a bone folder before assembling. For textured cardstock that is deeply colored like this, I prefer a Teflon bone folder as it doesn’t mar the beautiful finish.

I don’t know about you, but I have a ton of washi tape laying around that rarely gets used. Simple projects like this are the perfect time to pull these out! I added a strip of wide washi down the center of each die-cut and flanked this with gold glitter tape on either side to create a quick and easy decorative belly band.

To create the tags, I die cut more Royal Sundance Linen Eclipse Black and Royal Sundance Linen Burgundy Cardstocks with a decorative oval die and a small thanks sentiment out of Gold Bright Foil Cardstock.

Adhere the sentiment to the center of the oval and punch a hole in the side for a super quick tag.

Adhere the two box panels together with liquid glue and fold the top shut after adding your gift. Tie the gift tag to the handle using gold cording or twine.

I hope you enjoyed this quick and easy thank you gift box project and thanks so much for stopping by today. Be sure to visit the CutCardStock store to purchase any of the products showcased today and if you liked this project, please leave a comment below!
