Put Your Sparkle in the Spotlight!
Hello, CutCardStock fans! Leslie here, and thanks so much for joining me on the blog today! Who’s ready to start on their Christmas cards? It’s never too early… you know Christmas will be here before we know it! The card I’m sharing with you today features Curious Metallic and Glitter cardstock, along with Classic Crest, Basis, and Pop-Tone cardstock!

I created the poinsettia embellishment first because I couldn’t wait to play with the die set, lol! I cut the poinsettia leaves from CCS Gold Glitter cardstock, the center from Pop-Tone Wild Cherry cardstock, and the leaves from Basis Green cardstock.
I cut a standard A2 size top-fold card base and a panel for the inside from Classic Crest Baronial Ivory cardstock. I cut panels for the front and inside from Curious Metallic Gold Leaf cardstock, along with thin strips to embellish the front and inside panels. I cut pieces to decorate the front and inside panels from the gold glitter cardstock as well.

I adhered the gold leaf metallic panel to the front of the card base along with the glitter and gold leaf metallic strips and then adhered the poinsettia embellishment. I adhered the glitter and gold leaf metallic strips to the inside panel and then layered the panel on gold leaf metallic cardstock. I stamped the front and interior sentiments in red ink.

I adhered the inside panel to the inside of the card base, then finished the card front with red Crystal Drops in the center of the poinsettia. I added a few in the background for a little interest, too.
