Hi guys! I’m a HUGE fan of vellum. So on occasion, I try to make vellum cards using heavyweight vellum as my card base. I got this #48lb vellum from CutCardStock, and it’s fantastic.
To start off, I scored my vellum to create a top folding A2 card. Then I die cut my frames.
I glued my outer frame and inside frame (so as not to see the glue, which was barely visible anyway).
I added shimmer on my card front frame. Since it’s a mostly white card, I wanted to make it sparkle 😉 I used a Spectrum Noir Shimmer Pen. You can see it pretty good below.
Once that was glued down and dry, I added my watercolor floral image to the bottom left. I also die cut a blank image of this to hide the glue on the inside. Again, it wasn’t really necessary as it was hardly visible.
In this image, you can see the layout a bit better.
I also die cut “Fabulous Friend” (from Concord & 9th) and glued it down. I also cut another for the inside – also not needed, but I did it anyway.
After I had all my pieces glued down, I decided to add a rectangle center to be able to write a sentiment at some point. You will see that in the last pic.
I added a bit of shimmer to my flower, and some Tonic Nuvo Stone Drops in White. (These are way cool). And that’s it!
And here is the inside.
Thank you SO much for stopping by. I truly appreciate your time!🙏🌞🌈
