Father’s Day BBQ Card

Hello, hello. Samantha here with a brand spanking new card to share with you.

Father’s Day is coming up, and I wanted to make the perfect card for my dad this year. My dad loves firing up his grill as soon as he possibly can so I knew the Let’s BBQ stamp set by Lawn Fawn would be perfect.

For this card you will need:

Let’s begin!

Adhere the Pop-Tone Cherry Red Cardstock panel to the card base. Use the Lawn Fawn Fancy Lattice Backdrop Die to die cut from the Basis 80lb White Cardstock. Glue this down over the Pop-Tone. I’ve found that it’s handy to have an ultra-fine tipped glue bottle for this kind of project.
Use your circle nesting dies to cut a circle from the upper center of your card, a smaller circle from the Basis White 80lb Cardstock, a round frame from the Basis Black 80lb Cardstock, and a circle from craft foam one size smaller than the one used to cut the white cardstock circle.
After lining the inside of the card with the White Basis 80lb Cardstock panel lay the red and white circle into the die cut hole, using the card front as a guide to aligning it.
Open the card and adhere the black frame. Opening the card helps so you can see the die cut hole a bit better.
Stamp, color, and fussy cut a few images from the Let’s BBQ stamp set. Glue them to the white circle and then glue that to the craft foam.
Adhere in the center of the red and white die cut circle.
Take your stamped sentiment and double mat it, first on the Pop-Tone Cherry Red Cardstock and then on the Basis Black 80lb Cardstock. Place at the lower right side of the card.
And that’s all!

I hope you’ll try your hand at this easy Father’s Day card. Don’t forget to bookmark this page! You’ll want to make sure you have it saved.
Until next time,
Samantha
