I am back today and I have the cutest project to share! Easter is just around the corner and we will be getting together with our family – so I decided to surprise them with some handmade treat boxes I will be giving everyone after our Easter brunch 😊
Let’s get to how I created these cuties!
As always, I choose my papers first and for bunnies, I decided on mediums grays for their bodies, light grays for their tails and pink for the inside of their ears.
I found this Bunny Box project in Cricut Design Space (if you have the software, just search under Easter or Bunny Box), and cut out all pieces per directions on their site.
Then curled up 4 long parts using my bone folder. This will give the boxes a rounder shape.
I assembled my treat boxes next.
Once they were assembled, I added the treats – each box will hold about 2 small bags of miniature Cadbury chocolate eggs.
Pulling ears through the slits is what keeps the boxes closed – I found it was easier to fill them just by pushing on the top of the box after it was assembled – the sides will open enough to add your treats.
Below are few close-up photos of these adorable boxes.
You could add a cotton ball on the back of each treat box for their tails 😊 That would look so cute and would give these bunnies more personality!
I really hope you like these adorable Easter Bunny treat boxes as much as I enjoyed making them and I hope you’re inspired to make a few of these cuties!
Thank you so much for stopping by today and until next time – Happy Crafting! 😉
