Looking for a fun and easy way to decorate your planner? These super bright and graphic planner clips can be made in minutes and are a great way to personalize and embellish an otherwise boring appointment book!
Stamp each die-cut with the coordinating stamp using an alcohol-friendly ink like Memento Tuxedo Black ink.
Color the images in with several shades of Spectrum Noir markers. I was inspired by the bold icon images to use equally bold colors, so most of my images are colored in bright turquoises, pinks, and yellows.
I next used the Pop-Tone Card Stock Sample Swatch Book to choose matching colors and create bright mats for each image. These handy tools are available for several different cardstock lines in the CutCardStock store and make choosing coordinating colors for your projects so easy!
Die cut two mats for each colored image (if you don’t have a matting die for your image, you can adhere it to the cardstock and fussycut instead). Here I chose Blue Raspberry, Lemon Drop, and Razzleberry cardstocks for my clips.
Add a dot of hot glue to the back of the matted image and press a large paperclip into the glue. Then, add more hot glue around the paperclip and cover the back of the clip with the second die-cut mat shape.
Use your new planner clips to personalize a page, bookmark the current week, or remember an important date!
I hope you enjoyed this fun and easy way to embellish your planner and thanks so much for stopping by today. Be sure to visit the CutCardStock store to purchase any of the supplies showcased today and remember that Pop Tone Cardstocks are on sale this month!
