Hi, all! Mynn here with a fun Father’s Day card using Basis Cardstock from the CutCardStock online store! Here’s how I created this card…
This card was very simple to create. The first step was choosing my papers. I went with Olive Basis Cardstock, Light Brown Basis Cardstock, and White Basis Cardstock. I kept it pretty simple, since I was going for a masculine feel.
The Olive Basis Cardstock was used to create an A2 card base. I decided to keep my layout portrait for this card.
The Light Brown Basis Cardstock was cut to be slightly smaller than the A2 card base–the measurements are 4″ x 5.25″. I then embossed it and sponged it to make it look like a faux wood panel.
Next, I stamped my sentiment in dark brown ink onto the White Basis Cardstock and cut it out into a banner.
I then gathered the rest of the supplies to finish the card–some patterned paper, baker’s twine, and washi tape.
I layered it all together and added a few enamel dots to finish the card off! I kept all the elements at the bottom to keep it simple…boys don’t really like a lot of fuss. 😉
That’s all for me today, friends! I’ll be back in a few weeks with another fun project using more lovely paper from the CutCardStock online store. Until then, HUGS and happy stamping, friends!
