Wow! I can’t believe this is my LAST post for the CutCardStock blog. It’s shocking how quickly a year can go by. It has been so much fun sharing some of my projects with you! In honor of this huge amount of fun I’ve had with CutCardStock products, I thought I’d share a few of my favorites!
Artist Supplies
These are, of course, the most fun products to play around with! It brought so much joy to my day to get off of the computer and paint, doodle, and letter with these products.
The Gansai Tambi Water Color Paint Set was probably my favorite discovery of the CCS products. The colors were super saturated and vibrant. Painting I did months ago still look great and not faded. I will be using this palette for years to come.
The Zig Watercolor Brushes are an awesome tool for painting small details, and hand lettering. The attached water well makes them efficient and portable!
Card Stock
It’s no secret how much I love the Classic Crest Card Stock, as I mentioned it in practically every post! It’s my go-to card stock when professionally printing stationery, announcements, and holiday cards. I also keep it on hand for projects I create or print at home.
Savoy Cotton Card Stock is my idea of luxury! This 100% cotton paper feels amazing, and I use it for wedding invitations and other high-end print projects. Also, keep this one on-hand for projects at home.
Cougar Card Stock is another one of my favorites and tends to be more affordable when professionally printing. I love to keep the place card size on-hand, as its smooth surface is perfect for hand-lettering place cards for special occasions such as holiday dinners.Â
Writing Tools
As I have mentioned, hand-lettering and illustration is a large part of my business, and I try to incorporate it into as many projects as possible! I love, love, love the Micron Pens for lettering, sketching, and illustrations. I use them on almost a daily basis!Â
The Uniball Pens were another popular tool in several of my posts. These pens are easy to use – a nice flow of ink and opaque color when used on dark card stock. Gold is my favorite!
The Zig Color Brushes were so fun to play around with! Such fun, vibrant colors. The tip is very flexible, like working with a paint brush. Perfect for hand-lettering or painting details.
Fun Papers
I love all of the fun options that CCS offers in card stock. I mean, who doesn’t love glitter? This glitter paper was thick, durable, and not messy!
And last but not least, I can’t say goodbye without mentioning my beloved Pop-Tone envelopes. Their vibrant colors bring joy to so many of my designs. I can’t get enough of them!
Well, that’s a wrap! Once again, thank you so much for the opportunity to share my work with you. I hope I provided some inspiration here and there. 😉 I certainly learned a ton from the other artists! Best of luck to the new Design Team – I can’t wait to see what they come up with!
Here’s a quick way to make beautiful cards that actually looked more complicated than they are to make. Using the wreath builder set from Gina K Designs helps you breeze through creating them. But using the right paper sets the stage to make them even more beautiful. I love the look of the Royal Sundance…
Hello everyone! Continuing the celebration of Earth Day this month, this week’s post highlights earth-friendly brown bag kraft products (100% recycled) and a gatefold piece. This was a learning experience for me because I’m embarrassed to say that I typically use all new paper when crafting. I ended up LOVING the look of the old…
Happy Monday! It’s Amber here, and I’m excited to share my latest project with you. I’m using Flavours Gourmet cardstock to create a card and tag set that will be super handy to have on hand in the upcoming season of entertaining and gift giving! I wanted to use a leaf die, so I cut…
Hi there! Hannah here, from Fanciful Spaces! Wreaths are my JAM! I love decorating my doorway with something festive and fun. I also enjoy creating things out of wire, I haven’t done a lot recently but I used to make wire structured items frequently. I decided to try my hand at making a star inside…
There is something about small shaped cards and envelopes that is absolutely adorable. Add gold vellum envelopes and gold pigment ink and I’m in heaven! I didn’t have time to make envelopes for the wedding hop, so I definitely wanted to feature those here. But first, we’ve got to make the mini cards! Daisy Shaped…
For today’s project, I used 1 full sheet of Stardream Metallic Coral, 1/2 sheet of Stardream Metallic Silver, and 1/2 a sheet of Stardream Metallic Lagoon. Once I picked out my lantern pattern and cut it, I decided to adhere all layers while it was flat. Fold along the score lines, and boom a lantern…
