Easter Bonnet Gift


In your Easter bonnet, with all the frills upon it, you’ll be the grandest lady in the Easter parade. Or in this case your gift will be the grandest. A gift with a surprise.
I created this Easter bonnet using as SVG file from Dreaming Tree. I sized the file to fit on the 8.5″ x 11″ Ice Gold Curious Metallic Cardstock. I cut the file using my Sizzix eClips2. The paper cut and scored easily.


I assembled the base of the hat following the directions found on the Dreaming Tree website.
For the embellishments,  I chose Curious Metallic in Botanic, Lime, Violette, Mandarin, Cognac and Ice Gold.
I inked the Ice Gold cardstock with Distress Inks.  I love how the shimmer shines through the ink.
Then I assembled the flowers and attached them to the hat. I also added a ribbon bow, some pearls, bead strands, and tip of cotton swabs for the pussy willows.
Add a few small gifts inside the hat and you are ready to go.
