Hi, Lisa M. here today with a wedding favor project. Wedding preparations are in full swing at my house. The theme for the wedding is winter, complete with lots of snowflakes. We made beaded snowflakes, but we needed a cool packaging idea for them. We created a sparkly topper with cardstock from CutCardStock.com.
I started with a 4 1/4″ x 4″ piece of Curious Metallic Ice Silver Cardstock. I scored it at 2″. Then I used my MISTI and Midnight Blue Staz-On to stamp the sentiment.
Next, I used Cougar White Cardstock to die cut mini snowflake rosettes using the Sizzix Mini Snowflake Rosette Die.
Then to add some sparkle and bling, I die cut snowflakes using Silk Glitter Silvermist Cardstock (which just happens to be on sale this month) and blue glitter paper. I attached the snowflakes and rhinestones with Glue Dots.
I attached the bag inside the topper with Glue Dots. Then attached the snowflakes to the front with a Glue Dot.
