Placecard Cupcake Party Invitation!

Placecards aren’t just perfect for your formal wedding or other celebration…. they also make super cute invitations!  Here’s how I used some white placecards to make a fun cupcake party invitation:

I gathered my supplies:

Using Kristina Werner’s stamp set “Cupcake Party”, I stamped the background circle in red.

On the fabulous Origami paper, I stamped the cupcake base with black ink, and then I stamped and embossed the cupcake topper.  It was super easy to cut both out.

Then I layered the words on the front of the invitation.

Using the Mono multi glue (my favorite!) and the 3D foam tabs, I layered the super cute cupcake on the background circle I stamped earlier.

I wanted to add some ribbon, so with the tiny card folded on the pre-scored fold, I cut a small slit to squeeze the ribbon through.

I tied a simple knot and I’ve got a super cute little invitation.

I can hand write all the details inside the card with the Zig Letter Pen!
