The flooding in Louisiana is devastating, and it hits close to home for one of our own on the CutCardStock Design Team, Kathryn.
She recently shared some images that are heartbreaking, but also heart warming to see the caring spirts of those affected, including her own family members.
“Some photos posted by my friends — just a few of the many heart wrenching scenes here.”
“My son Stephen walking in the street to my father-in-law’s house. It sustained over 4 feet of water.
He lived there for 40 years and had never flooded. Like so many others, he did not have
flood insurance.”
“Bass Pro Shop — many large and small businesses have been destroyed”
“People here are resilient and want to help each other — it’s truly amazing to witness and I’m so proud to be part of such a caring community.”
“My amazing 73 year old Dad — won’t quit — pulled out all carpet, shop vacuumed remaining water,
pulled off panelling and now cutting out wet insulation.”
CutCardStock would love to help out, so between now and September 2, when you purchase select items, we will donate 100% of the purchases to Samaritans Purse Flood Relief. Here are the items that are eligible for this relief event:

I absolutely love your kind act it's heartbreaking to see these photos but they are necessary to remind us of the devastation others are facing right now.
