Car-Themed Masculine Card

car-themed masculine card

Generally speaking, I have always struggled with making masculine cards. I encourage you not to be intimidated by any type of card. When you have the proper cardstock, like those from CutCardStock, it’s hard to go wrong. While my card isn’t super masculine, it checks the box for a car-themed masculine card. CutCardStock and their wonderful cardstock easily allows you to change the colors of this, or any card to make it even more masculine.

Gathering Your Supplies

This FUN car-themed masculine card uses fabulous cardstock from CutCardStock including the following:

Astrobright 80 lb. Eclipse Black 8.5″ x 11″ Cardstock (card base and wheels)

Cougar White 160 lb. Heavy 8.5″ x 11″ Cardstock (inner card base)

DCS Seafoam Textured Green Cardstock (card base and car body)

DCS Dolphin Grey 8.5″ x 11″ Cardstock (grill, bumper, etc.)

Adding Texture & Technique

Once all the base pieces had been cut and glued together, I worked on paper piecing all the car parts. The sturdy cardstock from CutCardStock help so much when putting together die-cut images. They hold their shape SO much better than other cardstock I’ve used. I assembled the car and placed it in the center of the card. A small stamped sentiment at the top of my card, and I was almost finished. The final thing I did was to stitch some solid black baker’s twine through the small holes in the cardstock. The weight of this amazing paper allowed me to do this with no fear of ripping or tearing my papers. You can see my stitching in the photo below.
