Hello friends! I am posting for CutCardStock.com today. Let’s compare 2 unique cardstocks – Cougar 80 lb. Cardstock versus Classic Linen White Pearl when stamping images, embossing and coloring with Copic markers. The Cougar Cardstock creates an classic card. You can step up the elegance by switching to the Classic Linen White Pearl.

Here is the stamped images using the Watercolor Halftone Stamp Set stamp from Altenew. Look at the difference the card stock makes!

Here is the heat embossed and Copic colored images using Sweet Pea Stamp set from Altenew. For reference, the White Pearl is on top in both of this photos. Notice the sheen.

Let’s look at one card two vibes

This was a fairly easy card to make. Stamp the watercolor floral on Cougar Cardstock. Trim the white cardstock and a blue piece with a Tonic Deckle Edge. Mount on a white A2 card base. I love the pop when using two colored bases. Cut the Hello from Altenew from the same blue cardstock. Matter of a fact, I cut it from the center of the blue base to save paper!

Now, compare the prior card to this one using the White Pearl Cardstock! Assembled the cards the exact same way. The only difference is the cardstock. I love the elegant look!

Check out another set of cards using the same cardstocks with Heat embossing and Copic coloring!

The classic one’s colors really seem to pop. I added the two gold side strips for interest!

See the difference the White Pearl CardStock makes? A much more elegant card!

There are great uses for each style. I have a hard time choosing a favorite! What is your favorite?

Thanks so much for stopping by today! I’d love to have you follow/subscribe on my social media sites Instagram, Facebook, Blogger and You Tube.  Be well. Be creative!
